Adib A. Mady was born in Kuwait, in 1982, into a Maronite Catholic Lebanese family. His father is Antoine Adib Mady. His mother is Najat Michael Al Selfani. He has two older sisters, Nadine A. Mady, and Nathalie A. Mady.

Adib went to his homeland, Lebanon, for the first time, with his mother and his sisters, in 1986, during the Lebanese Civil War. His father stayed in Kuwait until 1989, when he finally returned to Lebanon to settle and be with his family.

Adib attended a Maronite Catholic school, Collège Notre Dame de Louaizé, in Zouk Mosbeh. He graduated from the same high school in the year 2000.

Having a passion for arts, Adib decided to join the audio-visual field. He studied at the Academy of Cinematographic and Theatrical Sciences in Sin El Fil, Lebanon, where he graduated in 2007.

Adib worked in several post-production houses and television stations: He worked as a non-linear video editor for news and TV shows at ANB TV (Arabic News Broadcast Television) in Rabieh, Lebanon. He worked as a non-linear video editor for TV showreels at Charisma TV, in Beirut, Lebanon. In 2008, Adib was the Head of Editing Department at a Maronite Catholic post-production house, CineChrist, and was the Division Manager of TV Charity, which are both subsidiary to the Congregation of the Lebanese Maronite Missionaries, in Jounieh, Lebanon. He also worked as a Creative Drama, Drama for Education, and Drama for Theatre teacher at the Bishop’s School for Boys, in Amman, Jordan. Adib currently is the Head of the Audio Visual department at Mar Qardakh School in Ankawa, Iraq.

In November 2010, in answer to the Catholic Church’s call for the new evangelization, Adib started the OneCatholic mission - a non-profit lay Catholic organization that aims to unite all the Catholics around the world through an online network.
​
In addition to his administrative and technical job occupations, Adib is also a husband, and a full-time dad. He got married on February 13, 2010, in the Maronite Catholic Church, Our Lady of Forgiveness, in Harissa, Lebanon. His wife is Ellen McCormick Mady, a Roman Catholic from the United States of America.

Adib and Ellen moved to Jordan on August, 2010, when expecting their first child. Charbel, their newborn son, was born on February 4, 2011. On October 2011, they moved to Iraq when expecting a second child. Paul was born on February 24, 2012.

Adib is now dedicating his life to his family and his mission, OneCatholic. He believes that the second most sacred devotion in life is family, while the first, is God.
