Prayer is the first and most powerful means with which we receive graces from our Heavenly Father. Without prayer, our lives would be subject to deterioration and even destruction. God's love for us is infinite, and in order to obtain the graces of His love, we should ask for them ourselves. We have to talk to God, and tell Him what's on our minds and in our hearts. This is prayer: a two way communication between God, our Father, and us, His children, and it keeps our relationship with Him close and personal.
